Topanga Road Closure Update

TOPANGA CANYON UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CALTRANS REGARDING TCB ROAD CLOSURE: Caltrans is working to clear the roadway at several locations between post mil 0 to 4. Their geologist is working with maintenance and construction engineers to assess the condition of the slopes. Last Thursday, a huge boulder came down the hillside and wiped out a construction trailer and damaged a Caltrans pickup truck. The hillside needs to be carefully assessed to its stability before reopening. There are no plans to blast the hillside with water.
